Remember how a few posts ago I wrote how to save money on your wedding? Well I have decided to show you guys how I make Boutonniere’s. I had the great opportunity this weekend to do it for a friend, because she just couldn’t figure out how to do it and make it look good. Her wedding is this coming Sunday, and I do plan on blogging about it it….maybe lol. I haven’t decided yet Anyway! I didn’t get as many pictures as I wanted because once I get started on a project I become very single minded but I will explain what I do! So shall we?
So recently while playing Final Fantasy: A Realm Reborn, I was chatting with a friend and found out they had a sewing machine. Unfortunately they had no idea how to use, and said they would love to learn how, but felt that sewing was an expensive hobby and they just didn’t have the funds at the moment. This got me to thinking. Yes sewing can become a rather expensive hobby, something I know very well. Just look in the huge tub full of random cloth for ‘projects’ under my desk! The thing is though I don’t think it would be overly expensive to start, especially if you had a sewing machine already, that’s half the battle there! So to the internet I went, technically YouTube. After scrolling through lots and lots of video’s I found one that I felt was a good way to start you can find it over on the channel Made to Sew and the video that is linked is the basics! So now that you know the basics of sewing you want to make a project right? Well that’s great! I have some great suggestions for a beginner sewer, and best of all most of them can be done on the cheap!
So, I know this blog has been rather inactive at times, and all. It comes because of the fact that I really don’t know what to write about, and I am not sure what anyone would want to read. So my friend told me to write about things I know about, crafts I like to do and a few other things. So while talking on the phone late one night with one of my best friends about the stuff that needs to get done for her upcoming wedding, It clicked. I have planned and budgeted my own wedding, helped plan and budget my cousins wedding, and am in the process of helping said friend and working on another cousins wedding. In short, I know my way around weddings. For my own wedding I seriously made everything we used. So Today we are going to talk about how to figure out how to budget your wedding and what not, and don’t worry I shall have a few pictures in this one ^_^.
Hello guys! I have been absent for a bit I know, I have just been at a loss of what to talk about the past little bit, but you know I think I’m just going to talk about everything that interests me and all the random craft projects I do along with all the sewing I do. I am however working on showing you guys the wonderful little memory bears a friend of mine has asked me to make out of the two little outfits she brought her twins home in! I just need to get a few more pictures as I work on it so. Here we are again doing a Perler Bead roundup simply because I love my perler’s and I enjoy showing you guys all the neat little projects I find on pinterest!
